Funny newspaper stories

Some funny newspaper stories from today's tabloids ..

TEAM SPIRIT
Struggling Premiership team Hull City are to have their ground "blessed" by a psychic in a bid to avoid relegation.

SITTY CAT
Shocked Vickie Mendenhall heard noises from her sofa - and found the previous owner's cat inside in Spokane, US.

DEAD BUSY
Shop boss Stella Mansfield, 64, put a COFFIN in her store with a sign saying "Who said business is dead?" - to show her business is doing well in Romford, Essex.

Scoop 6 and other dodgy bets

An indifferent day at Cheltenham for The Editor .... Cooldire winning at 7/2 and Well Chief coming second at 14/1 e/w was as good as it got.

Still gives me a few pennies to play with tomorrow.

Tonight I'm on Man U, Arsenal and Porto for Champions League glory.

Scoop 6 and other dodgy bets

A good first day at Cheltenham for The Editor .. I was on four races and got two winners and a 50/1 placed.

My winning bets were Somersby (third) and Garde Champetre (win) and Quavega.

A story of so near yet so far in last night's football. I had Chelsea to draw and Vilarreal to win but also had Liverpool to draw but they romped it so had to settle for two out of three. Still I doubled my money.

Not so lucky on the domestic coupon. I had Rotherham to hammer Chester which they did but Sheffield Wednesday lost a last minute goal and Dunfermline got a doing at Livi so not to be.

I'll be back later with today's bets.
