Funny newspaper story ..

Brian Harvey was banned from driving for six months yesterday for going nearly double the speed limit.
Not the first time the troubled East 17 star has been caught speeding ..

Newspaper gifts

The Editor likes a freebie with his morning paper. And The Sun comes up trumps today with a free Horton Hears a Who! Fun Pack.
Just what the doctor ordered ..

Scoop6 and other dodgy bets

Forest cost me my money back last night but I aim to bounce back this evening. No real value in the Champions League tonight - Barca 1/4, Man U 4/11 and Sevilla 2/5. The only game worth a punt on is Arsenal in Milan.
It's a tough one to call and I've gone from fancying Arsenal (3/1) to thinking Milan (Evs) will nick it but in the end I'm going for a draw (21/10)
Going to team that draw up with Peterboro (10/11) who can go top of League 2 if they win tonight, Darlington (1/2) and Doncaster (6/4)
Four £1 trebles and a four-fold - all up for £67.

Elsewhere another big night in the ridiculously unpredictable Championship.

I'm backing Bristol City (2/1) away to Charlton, Burnley (2/1) away to Hull, Ipswich (4/5) at home to Sheff Utd and West Brom (6/5) away to Sheff Wed.
Four £1 trebles and a four-fold - all up for £95.

Sticking a £1 accy on just in case, would pay a lovely £800.

LOVELY KNICKER KNITTER
Tara Kilbane celebrated winning a 'Lovely Girl' contest at a festival in honour of TV comedy Father Ted by flashing thermal pants she knitted in Inis Moir, Ireland.

SAVED HER BACON
A piglet that fell from the back of a lorry on its way to market was saved - after it landed outside an animal sanctuary near Strichen, Aberdeenshire.

Funny newspaper story ..

My favourite funny newspaper story of today is X Factory star Simon Cowell revealing he was offered £1million to become the face of Viagra.
He rejected the deal, describing it as a "f****** insult."
Most people would have thought him perfect for the role as well.
