New Yorkers are getting a 'taste of Scotland' - by guzzling deep fried Mars bars and Irn-Bru and popular eaterie A Salt and Battery.

loving the name of the eaterie!! Has the Editor ever tried a deep fried mars bar? Quite tasty!

Can't say I have. I heard at one point they were doing deep fried creme eggs which is taking it too far.
Have you really had one?

yep, I am ashamed to admit that I have! Although I did work in a chippy for 5 yrs, it's not really that far fetched.
