The Daily Express and the Daily Star carry remarkable front page apologies to the McCann family for the papers' coverage of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
The Express said it published a number of stories which implied the couple were responsible for their daughter's death.
The Star offers a "wholehearted apology" to Kate and Gerry.
It says it now recognises the pair are "completely innocent of any involvement in their daughter's disappearance".
It is understood the Express group paid more than £500,000 in damages.
