The Story of the Scotland national team

The SFA has kindly invited The Editor along to the friendly match against Croatia - posh seats and all. Rumour has it they even give you a pie at half-time and open the bar afterwards.
It must have been all the publicity I've been giving the new kids' book, The Story of Scotland, in the last few days.
I've tried to show the front cover again but it keeps coming out red so here is the new manager George Burley with No2 Terry Butcher, as featured in yesterday's Evening Times.

So how was the hospitality at Hampden?

Forget about the hospitality. How was the pie?

We had the best seats in the house and while the game itself wasn't the best the pies were sensational - the sausage rolls even better. They did a nice wee cake as well but I didn't want to spoil the Guinness taste ...
